The girl returned to the boarding house at 7 o’clock Sunday evening and told the Chinese boy that she did not wish to be disturbed in the morning as she was tired and wanted to sleep a long time. When she did not appear for dinner other boarders went to call her and found her lying across the bed, evidently drugged. The victim was rushed to the hospital where efforts to save her life failed.”
