Ossip, who lived in the same boarding house, 246 Avenue Joffre. The night before Mrs Michovska had reached home at about 11 p. m.m returning home from a dance. She had a hour’s conversation with her brother and retired to rest; she was last seen smoking a cigarette. His brother smelled something burning, got up, rushed to her bed and found her unconscious and in a terrible state, badly burnt; only her face had escaped the flames.” “The deceased had been described as extremely attractive, with auburn hair. She had left the employ of Kodak Co., Kiangse Road, a week before. She was extremely popular with her colleagues all of whom said she intended to live in Tientsin. Her brother was a young man learning English and was to accompany her.”
