Was active member of Russian community in Hankow, charity activist and chairman of the Russian School. Moved to Shanghai 1930 continuing to work in tea trade. After some time working for Java China Trading Co. he went to work in the French Police. Died at the General Hospital after contracting pneumonia. Survived by wife Eugenia Stepanovna, dentist, b. 1895 in Irbit, and two sons. ERC 91277.
