After spending 10 years in Harbin, he came to Shanghai. He was active in Shanghai Jewish and Russian community circles, having served on various medical and social committees, and for a time was the President of the Shanghai Jewish Club. His sudden death came as a blow to the remaining foreign community, as practically every foreigner in Shanghai at one time or another was a patient of Dr. Rosenkevitch.”
