- Notes // Примечания: “George Sabrikoff, 14-year-old Russian boy, died as a result of a lung hemorrhage after he had been resuscitated by two companions following his near-drowning in a creek. He lived at St. Tichon’s Orphanage at 95 Avenue Victor Emmanuel III and had gone to a creek near the railroad crossing on Hungjao Road close to the Cantonese cemetery. As he did not swim, the boy sat on the back and watched his two companions, but he slipped and fell in. After dragging him out, they gave him artificial respiration and revived him. They then put him in a richsha and started for St. Marie’s Hospital on Route Pere Robert, but on the way to the hospital, Sabrikoff started having hemorrhages and died a few minutes after his arrival at the institution.”
