- Notes // Примечания: Soviet citizen. Had no relatives in Shanghai. Resided at Apt 28, Sun Court, Weihaiwei Road. SMP probed the allegation that she was murdered by the Soviet agents, but found it unconvincing. “The prima donna’s death is mourned by many music lovers in Shanghai, for the Soviet operatic star was well known to local audiences, having appeared as soloist with the SMC orchestra and the US Marine Namd in concerts. Last week, in her last performance, she appeared in the opera Eugene Onegin at the Canidrome. She was supposed to star in Carmen on the night of her death. The body will be cremated and the ashes sent to Moscow, to which city Mme Krilova had planned to return when the outbreak of hostilities prevented her departure.” Bio in NRS. Bio in Zhiganov, 136.
