He was found dead on the boat deck at 6.30 am on Wednesday last. The bullet entered the roof of the mouth and emerged through the top of the head. Born in Viatka, Russia, on February 12, 1911, Shishkin was recruited in Shanghai and joined the Hongkong police as an anti-piracy guard. Of a popular personality, his death came as a great shock to his colleagues. His father lives at 1227 Rue Lafayette, Shanghai.” Philip Georgievich Shishkin, b. 1912 in Viatka, ERC 111120, is likely his brother.
