Sroulevitch, 62, tied one end of a cord from his dressing gown to a hot water pipe, made a noose out of the other and slipped it over his head and then jumped from his bed at the Sacred Heart Hospital early yesterday. He was found hanging by a sister at 6.30 am. B. Frank, a nephew of the deceased testified that his uncle had cancer for the past few years and that he continually brooded over his condition. Mr Sroulevich resided at 7 Route Paul Henry. He is survived by his son, Mr Morris Sroulevich, manager of Union Steamship Company.”
