Mother – Sofia Mikhailovna Kletchkina, widow, b. 1884 in Tver, Russia (ERC 52003). Sister Anna Sergeevna Novitsky, b. 1906 in Tver (ERC 82136), dietitian. Sister Maria Sergeevna Shmotkin (aka Speelman), b. 1910 in Manchuria, medical nurse. Anna owned and operated the Little Café (opened in 1933 at 741 Bubbling Well Road), and Maria had Mrs. Novitsky’s Kitchen, also located on Bubbling Well Road. The sisters brought up their nephew T.
