Dorf had been separated from his Russian wife on April 23, and since then had engaged a foreign nurse to look after a baby during the day whilst he was at his office, being an accountant with a large foreign firm.” Having fed the baby during the night, Dofr found him dead in the morning. “The body of a child put in a suitcase was taken to a vacant lot near Keswick Road. Since the child was neitherer named nor baptized, father had not taken it to a funeral parlor.” Dorf received a suspended sentence of three months for abandoning the child.
