- Notes // Примечания: “Colonel Leon Paul Ducimetiere was attached to the Staff of General Samsonoff and took part in the battles in the Eastern Front in the World War. His brilliant conduct won him the highest Russian military distinction... In 1917, he was head of the Russian Aviation Mission to France, where he was in the service of the allied cause when the events in Russia prevented his return there. When the war ended he came to China and entered the service of the Russo-Asiatic Bank as secretary to the General Management in Shanghai, and later as manager of the Moulins de Soungari. After the closure of this bank he went to France and regained his French nationality. Funeral services will be held this afternoon in the Russian Orthodox Church on Rue Corneille.” Russian bio in Wikipedia.
