  • Notes // Примечания: “Funeral services for the late Mr Igor Vasilievich Ivanoff, the 22-year-old son of Mr and Mrs V. Ivanoff and brother of George Ivanoff, were held in the presence of a large attendance of friends and relatives. He was a member of the SMP, and platoon of Police Specials in uniform from the First Division attended in a body. After the ceremonies each member passed the grave and saluted their departed comrade.” Ivanoff was survived by grandmother and “mother, father, Ura and Galia.” He had resided at 1173/32 Bubbling Well Road. Father – Vasily Ivanovich Ivanoff, b. 1879 in Bessarabia; mother – Sophia Ivanoff. Fake grave exists at Song Qingling Memorial Park.
