  • Notes // Примечания: “On Nov 14 Mrs V. S. Korobova, young wife of an employee of the Shanghai Zaria, went to the hospital of the Russian Orthodox Confraternity to visit a friend. She took of fher coat in the waiting room, proceeded to the sick ward, and after taking a few steps fell down in a swoon. In spite of immediate medical aid she passed away in a few minutes. Death has come through a heart attack.” Survived by husband, the Shanghai Zaria journalist Nicolay Stepanovich Koroboff, b. 1897 in Kostroma, and children Natalie, b. 1924 in Shanghai, and Elizaveta, b. 1932, also in Shanghai.
