- Notes // Примечания: Known as “the friend of the children.” NCH: “After graduating from the high school in Caucasus, Mr Kutaisoff was attracted by the theatre. At first he appeared in amateur performances, and later became a professional and made a career for himself as the member of the Imperial Maly Theatre at the outbreak of the Revolution. He devoted himself to work among children. He managed to leave Soviet Russia and in 1931 arrived in Shanghai. Few were the children’s holidays that passed without his active participation. In addition, Mr. Kutaisoff was active in church matters, being responsible for the Candle Table at the Russian Cathedral.
