Lazaridy after a long illness, at the age of 73 years. Mr Lazaridy established his business of wine and spirit merchant in Vladivostok in 1905, transferring it to Harbin and then to Shanghai in 1930. His benevolence to the Greek community of which he was a member and also to other Europeans in Shanghai are well-known; his death will be widely mourned.” The funeral took place at the Russian Orthodox Church on Route Paul Henry. “Mrs F. N. Lazaridy wishes to thank all friends for the kind expressions of sympathy, flowers and donations for charity during her recent sad bereavement.” Widow – Nina Fakalionovna Lazaridy.
