  • Notes // Примечания: Married Henry Leibenson in 1903. Attended a university in Lausanne, Switzerland, specializing in philosophy, history and education. Back in Odessa she became the director of the Girls’ High School. After leaving Odessa in 1918, she moved to China, where she opened a school in Tsingtao in 1922. In 1925 she moved to Shanghai where she spent 13 years, teaching French, German and Russian languages. Since she was a free-thinker, there was no religious ceremony.
