Logkoff, assistant manager of the Central Organization of Trade Unions of the USSR in Hankow, committed suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom of his apartment, 7 Carter Road, at 3 am on February 24. Deceased and his wife occupied the downstairs front room of a boarding house. Logkoff returned home at about 11 p.m. and a violent quarrel arose, which resulted in him going into the bathroom and attempting to hang himself.” That attempt was prevented, and he returned to the bedroom. After a while, the quarrel resumed, and the deceased went to the bathroom locking the door after him. After waiting for some time for his return his wife looked through the keyhole and saw him hanging, with a towel round his neck.
