Prior to losing his job a few months prior to his death was employed as watchman. “Made desperate by his unemployment, poverty and hunger, Pechoogin committed suicide in the early hours of the morning by hanging himself in a toilet room at the Race Course near the SVC compound. Brought to the hospital he was found dead on arrival. He bore signs of having not eaten for a number of days.” Pichugin was a bachelor and was registered as living at 184 Mohawk Road. ERC 91530.
